don't get a 17", better save for a extra monitor. like a 24" and then hook it up. sooooooooooooo much better.

Windows 7/CS 4 on my Sony Vaio is great and super fast - add some variety to your life, it looks as nice as a windows machine can.

Not trying to troll, but I read the following article and was minded of the response to SteveJobs' assertion that Mac won't be a mostly virus-free domain forever.

To cut a long story short I looked at vaio and wasn't happy with their build quality, or windows. Apple did the decent thing and refunded me after a free upgrade. Yesterday I got an i7 MBP matte display. First impressions are excellent. If anyone is deciding between the two I did a he'll of a lot of research if you have questions!
