very strange indeed.
so what i can get out of this is that it's basically not legal to get a version from the us?

yep they fucking rape us price wise in Europe

It is because of your taxes in europe - courtesy of the EU. When are you guys to realize you're getting ripped off and receiving nothing in return.
Make sure you check the licensing before you buy anything from the US to send to europe. Make sure the software will still work.
I hear the Queen is looking for her followers to worship her while she rapes and pillages the European people.
Good day!

There's a legal side of it...
If your company has no offices in the States you can get into trouble. Here in UK the cost is the same figure than in US, only in Sterling. So about 1,50 times more.

On a serious note, if you register as a sole trader in the us (can be done online) you're sorted?

it's because they have to ship it to you. and because it's bad weather at the moment it does cost adobe about £1000 to do that. it's a pretty good deal really. Think how much it would cost to go to their office and pick it up.
- actually. it would be cheaper to jump on a plane, stay a couple of days in a nice hotel and pick up a copy from a dealer.olem
