looks like they have sorted out the artboard sequence issue a bit... but it still seems to be a tad complicated. why can't it just re-order the pages when you move them like freehand did?
some of the other things look interesting. seems like we have paste inside now too.
its not really a massive leap on from cs4 tho.

paste inside?? nice! So sick of not being able to align anything that I've clipped!! (well let's hope it works the same as freehand.)
I'm quite happy about the snap-to-pixel bit too. I've tried snapping to a 1-pixel grid before and it was still never pixel perfect.

the adjustable strokes look cool too. i wonder will many people use the perspective drawing thing?

- "adjustable strokes" I used some of those when I woke up this morning.mg33

What about Export to iPhone?...oh wait
- sssshhhhwhereRI
- Funny. I'd be willing to bet that most every iPhone App relied on Adobe software to be createdmonospaced
- Every single one.monospaced
- Opera didn't, it was made in OpacityPIZZA

actually looks like the best new features of the bunch, its a shame they fucked it up so badly in CS4 that it was a barely usable product in the end. So they need to fix what they broke first (mostly colour/gradient palettes) or all this is pointless.

Some of the controls look a little different, but those seem to be brushes that have already existed for several versions. Although, I'm not sure what was going on at the end there.

I'm usually a bit cautious about upgrading software, specially if it's already working fine. I'm still on CS3, and so are most of the agencies I work with, and I have never got around to moving up to CS4, mainly because I read here that it had some bugs.
AE CS3 had some issues, but eventually they got solved when installing the CS3 upgrade later on, now I have it right where I want it, and while some of the features seem very nice, to be honest, chances are I don't think they are necessary on my daily workflow at this point.
Exporting to iphone was something I was looking forward in flash, but we all know that ain't happening so, I think I'm going to wait patiently before making the move to CS5.
I'm the mean time I look forward to reading other's experiences

/\ FUCK SAKE! I thought that was a joke, talk about jumping the fucking shark.
- figure out what "jumping the shark
' means and get back to us.marychain - happy days .. show went down hill .. especially when they had to get fonzie to jump a shark to keep up ratings.lukus_W
- yeah... know
I meant that Indesign doing animation doesn't quite fit the phrase "jumping the shark"
ermmmm.....just forget it.marychain - kinda like when somebody says "that's ironic", but it isn't ironic at all and you realize they have no idea what the word ironic means.marychain

I like the look of beautiful strokes, shape builder tool, and the drawing enhancements. I have CS3 now. Probably won't buy but looks nice.
