Ironic since Lee Clow (head of TBWA) is the one responsible for many of Apple's most famous campaigns including most famously the slogan, "Think Different."

"I don't think it's a rip. I think it might be just inspired."
wtf are some of you talking about??
it looks pretty much identical to the original... in fact, I couldn't imagine how you could possibly copy it any closer (minus the lazers).
scum.

That is shocking and shameless. Thanks bone crusher for posting.
Im surprised at some peoples responses defending TBWA, its pretty identical. As inteliboy quoted -
"I don't think it's a rip. I think it might be just inspired."
There is being inspired by something and then theres directly copying. This TBWA ad falls into the latter clearly. They havent looked at the original and thought carefully about why it works and used the same formula, they have looked at the original and gone, lets do that, the same way!Not to get to philosophical, but to bust out a quote you all know by picasso -
"A Good Artists Borrows ideas, A Great Artists Steals"
That means to me, when stealing an idea, you get inspired by something, understand why it works, understand the formula to its success and build on it, make it better and make it your own, perhaps with your own style.TBWA must not have heard this picasso quote! I know people who have worked at TBWA as well, disappointing.

I also cant believe they copied Sagmeister! You do not fuck with the sagmeister, that guy would mess you up, you know he'd stab the shit out of you.
Bonecrusher thanks for sharing dude!
Found this too! another TBWA - Apple ad campaign copy.
Original - Telephone - Marclay - iPhone Original 1995
Iphone/TBWA Copy - Apple "Hello" iPhone Commercial
That again is a clear and shameless copy.

steal another mans idea (illustration, picture, movie), sell it to the client, get the money and run. is that what you guys call business?
- Hombre_Lobo0

Some random kid copies work and puts it on his shitty website for whatever reason and qbn goes completely crazy.
TBWA, a large and well known agency, spend countless hours, dough and resources to create a full blown shameless clone of Pleix's vid... all to sell dog biscuits. And all we mostly get here is a collective "meh".
