I had a LinkedIn Job Once_
It lasted 2 days. A recruiter I have never worked with before contacted me. Direct TV was looking for an Permalance Art Director. Sat with headhunter, got a thumbs up. Sat with 6 different people in a 2 hour interview at Direct TV, got another thumbs up. Went onsite, place was a disaster_There copywriters were not sending me changes and updates. I was going into meetings with the CD + ECD with dated copy. Bomber.

Just like on Facebook, I only have a few connections yet I get very strange connection suggestions - people I have no idea how they know I know as they are in no way connected with people who are on my list. Perhaps those people did a search on my name once?

It's pretty much a a site for the unemployed or recruiters. The only timeI ever see anyone post a change to it (not twitter shit) is when they update their profile because of a shift in employment. The site accomplishes nothing. Neither do I actually, since I'm at work typing this in now....
