I know it's a bit trashy, but I don't care - I love it. This past episode was good.

dunno if I'm feeling the wolves. They're like idiots and serve no real purpose. It's getting too much like Twilight now too.

" It's getting too much like Twilight now too."
just "now"?

Watch how fast I can type 'motherfucker'.
I'll delete it so you can see it again.

only difference being is that there's more blood and more hot twisted sexy sex than those shitty prepubescent Twilight movies
Sookie will become a monster slutI think Sookeh & Penneh would be an awesome show

Yeah, I'm not sure about the wolves either. Just a bunch of vicious errand boys for now. They could use a little Underworld flavor here.

Well, it is becoming more ridiculous .. I'm not really into the werewolf thing either.
The main thing it does have going for it, is that it's well written. I reckon the association with Alan Ball is pretty clear; sharing a major similarity with Six Feet Under, in the sense that the show is character driven.
Each central character has been carefully defined - and remains distinctive. At any one time, as a viewer, I think it's quite easy to understand what each character could (believably) do - and these boundaries are respected by the writers involved. I think a screenplay should always be driven by character motivation, and the writers of this show understand that. It's a rare quality in a lot of TV.
It's also inventive, but because the writers have carefully defined the fictional universe, they're able to get away with quite a lot of the far-fetched stuff.
It might be trash, but I think it's pretty well-woven.

How can you compare twilight with True Blood...
This show rocks.
Except for Bill, he really is a douche...

Well in the books there is a zombie-ish vampire Elvis that lives on catblood...
