episode 1 wasn't great but had to explain everything, but episode 2 was awesome. This is going to be a nutty season.

i like where this season is headed. its nice to see the main cast play different views of themselves. i like Pam's character a lot. soft sided goofy eric is also fun to watch. the whole baby doll thing seems to be headed toward demonic possession or something "chucky" or something.. i would never let my child play with a scary ugly dirty doll like that.. yuck.. the preview for next week looks great. i wonder when jason will turn into a panther, and if the other panthers are all pure born, how will jason be different from them.. like will he be weaker compared to the pure born panther? also is he going to have to impregnate the entire female panther group or just crystal? it seems like all the female panthers were getting ready to be his..

i feel like this show has jumped the shark quite a bit. i get it that it's supposed to be kitschy to a point, but the whole panthers and fairies thing is kind of silly, IMO. it's hard for me to take this show seriously any longer. i prefer how it started off, in a much darker vein of drama. now we've got fairy dust, vampires being all kissy-faced, and a load of other mythical creatures and professions. i'm sure alan ball will write his way out of this show spectacularly, but this season is not really interesting me so far.

now that eric sucked dry one of the ever more powerful fairies dry, does this mean he can freely walk in the daylight without fear of getting burned? since it is sooookie's fairy god mother herself, wouldnt her blood be stronger, considering you get 1 day off sookie's sweet nectar and thats not even sucked dry..also spoiler.. ahead, it has been said by the powers that be.. that eric may not actually have amnesia at all, but may be playing for he own scheme and used the spell of the witches to his side and played out that he was under their spell. since also eric was around for what ever he mentioned in the first episode, he knows their trickery more than any of the other younger vampires and can use that to his motives.
so can eric now walk freely in daylight?
