Hey,
I am not looking for books on how to optimise sites on a day today basis. But more on a focus on Building websites that are as SEO friendly as possible. So we it can start on the best foot possible.Anyone come across some great books?

SEO means nothing these days, if your site is HTML then the bots will be smart enough to figure out what it's about

Although google is always changing its algorithm to rank sites, a lot of the core principles of SEO have remained the same for the last couple of years. I own this book and still reference it from time to time. Definitely a good one IMO: http://www.amazon.com/Search-Eng…

It's more about where you are (backlinks) linked than all these improper processes, "SEO Experts" think they understand in terms of "optimizing" a website. Metadata elements matter, don't get me wrong, but are highly depended upon for all the wrong reasons.
