#2 does have a concept... it's a girl running on a treadmill, isn't it? Work on that concept and possibly #6.
I'm guessing you haven't got the pencils out and doodled. Do this for ten minutes before you start concepting... just let your mind wander and start scribbling away. Then get back on the job - pencil and paper, before you even think about the computer or fonts or anything.
Good luck.

i like 1 - if you made it all link up more. so the tear drop shapes could touch, and the type could almost link up with the negative space. lose the 3rd shape and just run the text underneath.

What is the concept behind your logos?
What is the main concept behind the business?
Which values make the business unique?
Where will the logo be used?

6...no contest...its teh best of the bunch by a long-shot....
puts me in mind of lulu lemon (big yoga boutique store, wildly popular with the wimmins) not that it's a rip of lulu's logo...just feels like its' in teh same industry...which is a good thing.....
anyhow, i like it...but it needs more work....the one with the silhouette on it has GOT to go....do NOT let the client push you into that one....
but lets be honest here....the client asked for that specifically...

I was going to say #1 but then OSFA happened.

Combine 5 and 6: female form sweeping her arms over her head from one side to the other, creating a flower/sunrise thing in their wake.

as they are, 6, but the top one. though concept-wise, i'd say 3 is the tightest visually (i see some kind of hips/measuring weightloss thing there, -- though that might not be the right message you are looking to convey). 5, i like the idea of incorporating yoga, but the silo isn't it. perhaps break down the pose to something less literal?

if it was me I'd keep going. that shape you have going in in 6 makes me think of a mandala. maybe some kind of multicolored mandala would look cool. I agree theres a lot of opportunity to create some symbolism. I'm surprised you didn't look at any ideas incorporating renew/recycle symbolism of some sort. Its been done to death but a new feminine take on it is worth a look...
- Thought about it and still like the idea, but landed on done to death.dubbya

I agree with dusign. I thought about mandalas when I saw 6 as well. A mandala concept opens up a lot of design applications and could be really beautiful. You might want to have more fun with your type selection too.

Conceptually speaking I think #3 is going somewhere. RENEW looks like it is going from maybe out of shape fat to slender? Maybe skinner waist nice hips. Try something along those lines. You haven't tried illustrating their name. Each one is type image. Try incorporating your illustration into your type.

so, basically we like all of them and like none of them. They all have concept and none of them have concept. Focus on all of them and start over.

Thanks this is all a big help — should do it more.
Concept wise I was thinking a leaf or 'turning over a new leaf' but just wanted to hint at it hence curvy lines. I tend to stay away from literal, maybe to a fault. I was also thinking of the curves in the hands and arms of a yoga pose #1's negative space, to bad it's v me almost exactly. #6 was also yoga curves at the start then evolved into ornamental.
