Ive been using the B-hance tool and like it a lot. I havent used any of the sharing features yet. I think it's like $100.00 a year to buy the premium subscription, which you'll probably want to take advantage of all of the features. I also have a Basecamp paid subscription but I really hate the interface and my clients don't like using it so I may cancel.

I use a moleskin at my desk, but it's only for taking short notes while working on projects. Things like font, colors, sizes, fleshing out ideas, etc...

I'm full-time freelance and these programs help me organize my entire life.
The big thing is, you have to treat these apps like your learning Photoshop, and really get to know them, watch/read tutorials, etc... Once you can easily use them, they are hands down the best apps for organizing anything (combined with Mail and iCal).

What about something like Yojimbo or Bento?

http://www.bentotrial.com/trial/…I've never used either, but their jobs are storing and organizing information.

Instead of PostIts, I use a little notebook (like a 4" x 6"). That way I can take it all with me if I decide to take my laptop somewhere to work; it has all the notes, phone numbers, etc. that get jot down while on a phone call; I can't accidentally throw it away or have it fall and slide under my desk unknowingly.

Exactly! Categorizing and Databasing information is exactly what I'm looking for but without having to pay a monthly fee. I do have excel but perhaps theres something out there better than inputting data on tables.
