Who cares if its a rip or not... its visually interesting in a short lived way (like chewing a sweet) , but utterly, utterly meaningless as an advertising image.
A visual gimmick pasted over the hole where an emotive idea should have been.

Look at that child abuse one. How wrong could it be? They've made a beautiful dress shape, that trails glamourously, out of hands that do not seem to be harming the child at all.
Surely the visual technique would hit home if the child appeared to be getting dragged down by hands that bind, clench, grapple, tug, grasp etc etc.

I'm not sure whether to get irritated at the assumption I may not know anything about women being touched, or whether to pity you for the fact that you clearly creep women out with your hands.
Okay, what about the crash helmet one. Does it say
1. Protective Headwear. Will protect your brain and keep you alive
2. Looks good too, which is an important factor in choosing a helmet.or, does it say
1. Looks like a heavy cowl of meat. Utterly ineffective in a crash, and suggesting even more vulnerability as the mind plays out a crash scenario and imagines al those hands getting minced into a bloody pulp as they bounce of the blacktop at 80mph.
2. Looks like a really big stupid hat on a moron.
