Does anyone know how much to get a lawyer for a programmer who break a contract and not finishing up a job.

paid him everything already. and he is even asking for more money.

Depends on the lawyer.
Call and ask. Explain your story and they will tell you.
Ok lawyer will explain the situation legally.
Good lawyer will tell what they will do.
Great lawyer will ask you what your goal is and tell you if its worth it.

Call as many as you can. Find one that specializes in contract law. Do it like an interviewing a candidate. Dont always go for the cheapest one.
