They're perfectly good and fast computers, Apple will sell them in their refurb store at a discount yet still high price to level-headed people while the herd runs for the Winter 2009/2010 season collection.
Those are precisely the same marketing strategies that fashion brands apply. Apple even runs regular fashion shows, setting trends for the industry. I thought it was obvious to people working in advertising?
