I don't really know why everyone is so surprised when employees of public transport are cunts. I always understood it was a basic requirement of the job.

As a complete outsider of London, I found the London Underground marvellous. Much better than those soggy holes in the ground of the Amsterdam Metro.... It's efficient, quick, the information is readily available - one knows where one's going.
Still, aren't practically all public transport staff bastards? I wouldn't like to be living most of my working life underground.

I fail to see how this relates to price.
But anyway... I'm neither surprised or shocked. Tube staff at Balham hauled me to 'see' the British Transport Police because I complained about the last northern line missing 3 stops. Police were also utterly bemused as to why.

I have this back-burner idea for a website which through various tools would allow one to log formal complaints about such services quickly and easily - like every time your train is delayed you just use an iphone or such to log the time of the of the train and have it send a strongly worded letter to customer services demanding compensation.
You could bring down public services with such a tool.
