I found my old Craig Kelly board on ebay and was out bid.
I just received a second chance offer for $15 more than my max offer. With shipping it will coast just under $200. Should I pull the trigger? It's a cool conversation piece but it will probably just end up hanging in my garage.

I got up to red mountain over NYE and then headed to Baker to catch the madness that was falling there... sadly we forgot our PASSPORTS so we couldn't cross the border. OH well. we stayed in Vancouver and hit blackcomb instead. Baker would have been epic, but we did get 31cm in 7th heaven after it was closed the day before.

got my opening day in japan a few days ago....was a solid 1.5 ft of fresh and about 8 people on the mtn......not kidding, like 8.....fresh tracks all day.
- What's the terrain like at ski resorts there? seems like there's always a tonne of snow.dropdown
- tons of snow....where i was, the terrain was weak, but 1.5 of fresh and no one there made it fantastic. better terrain is around nagano.linearch

How do you keep your costs down? Just have your own equipment and buy season passes? The fees at resorts look pretty high.
- once you get your own gear, you only need pay for lift tickets. seasons passes are ok if you really like the place.dropdown
- otherwise you'll get bored fast. Most places offer discounted ticket packs. I say pick 2 or three places and do it that way.dropdown
- then go on a few out of town trips. To have some fun in new to you terrain.dropdown

been 9 times so far this season...was gonna go today but got drunk and missed the bus from nyc, no refunds so i just spent 100 on fucking nothing, seriously sucks...FUCK im still heated haha.
