Kids need their ass beat, bottom line. Shit is out of control with kids. When I was a kid if I broke something or smarted off or whatever, I got my ass cracked with a wooden spoon. I'm glad I did. Actually, all my mother had to do was give me a look I knew to behave immediately or else.
This kinda shit is ridiculous. Calling the cops on people who smack their kids in public or whatever. Have you ever heard a kid going nuts in a store? You wish that parent would smack the shit out of them. Hell, my neighbors had explicit permission to beat me if I got out of line. Kids need some fear instilled in them so they behave.

That's just ridiculous. On the other hand, doctors or even policemen who beat their own kids so bad they break some limbs can still keep custody. There's no justice. :'(

Now that I think about it. It's dumb to wash with soap though, it could be non edible or something. I'm reminded of some parents that killed their daughter by forcing her to drink too much juice. I'm guessing they weren't evil. They were dumb as hell, but you never know. I don't think washing a mouth with soap is a good discipline idea.
