About 180 people who ate at a Chipotle restaurant near Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, became sick with a gastrointestinal illness, the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Health officials began investigating the outbreak after people started arriving at local emergency rooms complaining of diarrhea, nausea, and severe vomiting.
Many of those affected were Kent State students who had eaten burritos at the restaurant on Thursday and Friday. Some had donated blood and gotten a coupon for free food at the restaurant, according to WLWT, the Cincinnati NBC affiliate.
The cause of the outbreak could be food-borne bacteria—like salmonella—or a norovirus spread by a sick restaurant employee, health officials said. The restaurant chain reopened on Saturday with employees from other store locations, because of concern that a sick employee might be the source of the outbreak. The restaurant also replaced its food supply and sanitized all equipment, according to the Akron newspaper.

Chipotle—the most efficient shit I ever took.

^ a sick employee doesn't constitute never eating at any chain. what if someone contracted it at your local grocery store? never gonna shop there again? it's a shame that it happened, but you can't blame a company for something like that.
now blaming jack in the crack for the number of coronaries, sure, i can see that.

sorry but it's very rare to find a real Mexican joint anywhere other than Mexico. realized the shit tacos we have here when i got back from my trip last January. the meat is fresh, the flavor is incredible. plus the variations of salsas... YUUUmmm!! but i guess there are a couple places in OC that are to a certain degree "authentic", if they have hand made tortillas then your getting close.

Chipotle Chicken Burrito - With rice, pinto beans, cheese, chicken, sour cream, and salsa, you get 1,040 calories and 16-1/2 grams of saturated fat - the same as three Subway Steak and Cheese 6-inch Subs. Plus the burrito comes with 2,500 milligrams of sodium! Ordering it without cheese or sour cream cuts the saturated fat to 3-1/2 grams, but you still end up with 810 calories and 2,300 milligrams of sodium. Ay Caramba! Here's another burrito that will shock you.
hold the cheese and i don't know about that sodium count. that rivals ramen noodles. also 16 1/2 grams of SATURATED fat? poly and mono maybe, but pure saturated fat? these numbers seem skewed. i read a lot of nutritional labels and for this burrito to be worse than a pizza in fat levels is just hard to digest (lol?).

I had chipotle for dinner last night. It was great :D
I think finding real chinese food is almost harder than real Mexican food. Unless you live near a big Chinatown and know the right places. Most ethnic food in the US is americanized to a point.

well remember, those burrito's are more than one serving. if weight or density were used to determine a serving size alone, i bet if we stacked the equiv count of a bacon ultimate double cheeseburger from jack in the box, mc donalds or even your favorite corporate chains offering (chili's, tgif, whatever), they would all kill chipotle on sodium and saturated fat content.
- wow...
open your eyes man, do you work for them or what?Meeklo
- wow...

Chipotle is disgusting. I can't believe they've managed to fool half of America into believing that shit is anywhere near edible. Well, at least I consider "edible" to mean the food doesn't eject rapidly from your anus after eating.

disgusting.

I'm not saying jack or any of those are healthy, In fact I would look stupid if I tried to suggest they were, don't you think?
I'm just saying Chipotle is not, you should gather more than enough evidence from this page alone to sustain that claim (if the term mexican junk food was not enough in the first place).
Can we agree on that? Chipotle is not healthy food.
That's all I'm asking :)

pretty good, actually. I love that they have limes available.
Lime juice + hotsauce + chicken = unbelievable win.
