I've noticed most of my friends in the Midwest are married with children, and most of the people I know in NYC are single or just having fun.
Everyone is different in NYC, but I do notice the women in certain parts of Manhattan are very very uptight and insecure...and even bitches. Not all, but a good bunch of them. I swear, if one more fat chick who's been jogging in tights roles her eyes at me, i'm going to freak. Because she's a fat bitch, she has to role her eyes at me?- <or maybe she's psychic and can read my mindceiling_cat

Era, it's not just you. These women are all sorts of crazy. I think once women get here they either fall into one of the following:
Socialite want to be (Upper Wes/U East Side), Hipster/Rocker chic with a sleeve trying way too hard to be bad ass (Willyburg/East Village/LES), Bohemian/Yuppy chic with a freaking yoga mat (Upper West Side/Park Slope/Cobble Hill/Fort Greene), Sex and The City want to be (Upper West Side/West Village), Overly analytic artsy type (Everywhere). Every hood has different types of chics and they all visit diff areas but this is my observation. Manhattan is so expensive it's filled with stuck up chics who's parents pay for their rent and cell phones. I think BK has a better selection (excluding willyburg).- These aren't all girls of course. I'm certain there are a lot of cool ones. Just not as many as one would think. ;)graphiknature

- Yeah foreign women are the way to go for sure as long as you can communicate. BK women seem to be more down to earth in my experience, still crazy though.graphiknature

- Man the big girls alwasy take up the side walk, whether they are solo or walking in a group of three taking up the whole thing so you have to walk in the street to pass them. Also when waiting for the train i always have some undesireables get all up in my grill when they walk by when they have a good 2-3 feet on the other side. I blame this all on Vogue, Sex in the City, and Oprah.
- The thing that is messed up about it is that most of these girls were normal until they got here. I blame it on them as well. People think just because they live here they are hot shit. Most of these girls aren't even hot enough.graphiknature

Also don't forget the girls getting a big head because they work for someone famous. I met this girl who thought she was all that because she did PR for Karl Lagerfeld. 1. Who gives a flying F. 2. She wasn't making enough doing that so she had to work a retail job as well. Not that retail is bad or anything. More just this girl though she was a celebrity or something so my friends and i gave her the nick name Future Celebrity.

I don't understand why it is so hard to find women in New York. From what I hear 30 bucks, a car and a little time driving to the meat packing district, the far west side below 14th street near the Highway/West Street and you can find all kinds of women.
