I'm exporting a drop-shadow background which fades out to transparent. I'm exporting it as PNG32 with a transparent matte. When I place it on a grey background it fades to white not grey.
What's up with that? I thought PNG32 fades out to any colour which is beneath?

Even worse. Turns the whole drop shadow solid black

If you're exporting from Photoshop Save for Web, make sure you have the transparency option selected.

Ahh jeez. My image is to add a drop shadow to a white DIV. I just realised my image is INSIDE that DIV... doh. I've been working 13 hours straight, time for a break...
And yeah there are 32-bit PNG's: http://www.icommunicate.co.uk/ar…

IE6 doesn't support PNG32. But there's a horrid 8-bit image in-store for those loosers...

- Worst part is, they will just say its your problem, not theirs. IE6, working as intended.********
