To start of, here's a blog post:
http://www.hellomuller.com/blog/…And why the redesign? Why not. We've had the same design for more than 8 years, and we felt it was more than time to give the site an overhaul and leave the nondescript blog-style site behind for something that had just a tad more info and structure. If you like the design, fantastic. If you don't, fine - we're not aiming to please everyone.
And I like cleiling_cat's comments.
- haha, didn't know someone from kleber was on hereceiling_cat

nice work but you really should have made a folding dummy for that dieline, one side is longer than the other and will not work.
- SigDesign0
I like the design a lot! but agree with fooler that it will not fold right with the current proportions...

seconding mistermilk, it really looks like the sort of thing a nobody would have come out with years ago when all sites were gimmicky and no one would have been impressed then. The box gimmick is weak and makes no sense, the screenshots are tiny and its a pain to look at your work when you have to actually visit every site to get a good look at it, throwing everything into a big blog format and shouting FINISHED! is a really bad way to organise and show off the work, sans and serif thrown around arbitrarily, can't even see half the "notable past projects" because the site lacks any way to actually show work other than a tiny screenshot which isn't even there for most of those projects so did what for MTV2 Europe? if its notable then show me what made it worth mentioning.
Given your history I would really have expected much better, I mean look at the DixonBaxi site thats quite excellent I'm guessing you just developed it (again, no idea because your site doesn't tell me it just name drops) because your own portfolio is so poorly conceived next to that.

I'd say the reason they only show small thumbnails, rather than screengrabs of x amount of pages of a site is because their sites are there to be used... and really screenshots do arse all unless you're just trying to show how well you can photoshop and bump up the size of your site.
- Exactly.ximeraLabs
- Oh right, so design isnt important?toe_knee
- design is important.. but showing screengrabs of a web site is about 10 years out of date and not releventmust_dash

....maybe their SEO is what keeps them busy? Because it can't be the design.

Wow, this is an aweful redesign... Are you trying to win Government jobs with those websafe colours?
- Sub_grega0

you want fries with that?

would be curious to know what makes you choose that direction.
I would have expected something close to build, stereolab or universal everything blog you made, and i'm suprised you went to something much more illustrative (or maybe it's more relevent to your other clients, such a pop music artists?).

@dyspl —
Just because everyone else is going 1 direction, doesn't mean we have to follow the same trend. We just felt like doing something different and have something that echoes a tactile object.
- dyspl0
I didn't mean going the same direction as everyone else. I quite liked the way your past site was working, and its minimalism, and well the ones I've mentionned you did seem to go in that direction. I> was curious about the aim of going in a completly direction.
