Fragrances react differently to each individual
- not to even mention everyone's individual taste. So it's not something you can really recommend.
What can be recommended is hitting up a shop and sniff through the samples. Find a few you like - try them on your skin see how the fragrance change. And sticks.
Smell coffee beans between each spray. They're there to re-calibrate your receptors.
- Tried using Japanese deodorant and it became an even more toxic smelling version of my b.o.bezoar

There's nothing naffer than adults wearing scented deodorants from a supermarket shelf.
"But you're 38? Why the fuck would you still be using Lynx?!"
.
Go alum crystal and, if you must, buy some decent cologne.

arm & hammer aluminum & paraben free unscented anti-perspirant
burberry london (winter / formal)
diesel fuel for life (spring summer / casual)
echo by davidoff (summer / casual)
english laundry arrogant (summer fall / formal)
jean paul gaultier le male (summer fall / casual)
jean paul gaultier fleur du male (spring summer / casual)
terre d'hermes (winter / formal)
ysl la nuit de l'homme (fall winter / formal)fuel for life is my go to atm, the girl likes it and the jean paul gaultier scents (le male is no longer the original formula though, it's very sad)
i used to use english laundry's arrogant so much that i decided to mix in the ysl la nuit de l'homme more often, now i'm happily reminded by arrogant occasionally
if i have to wear a suit or dress dark, it's a toss up between burberry london and terre d'hermes
i pretty much only wear echo anymore if i want to wear cologne but know I'm going to be outside or sweat all over myself as the day progresses. the citrus scent remains clean & light even when you're sticky
everything pretty much stays in random rotation, nothing gets boring

i think this is a sign we are too dependent on qbn for all our conventional wisdom.
Dear QBN, should I do laces or Velcro for my shoes?

I use this deodorant, mainly because I have sensitive armpits. Pretty much the only deodorant I use without getting a crazy rash. Plus it doesn't have aluminum, so no yellow armpits. Not an anti-perspirant though, but finding out that I don't need that anymore. Smells nice, not too overbearing, kinda musky so mixes well with my actual sweat.

- Nice, as much as it can be without smelling it. Derp.MrT
- Small sample set by any chance? The ingredients seem great on their own. But mixed it could go either way.futurefood
- Yeah, but not sure if this scent is offered as a sample. https://www.etsy.com…bezoar

Lasts all day, dig the smell. Has a hippy patchouli hint to it but unlike anything you get elsewhere.
I buy a chuck, lasts for about two weeks.

Then top up with some Hugo Boss for client meetings and you're golden.

Pretty much the only deodorant that works for me. It smells nice and keeps me fresh all day.
Yeah yeah, it's from Victoria's Secret but it smells fantastic. Crisp and clean.

This smells much better than their Mint Cedarwood, which smells something awful.

I had the pleasure of sitting in the middle seat on a 5 1/2 hour flight home from San Diego where the gentleman in the window seat decided to forego his underarm deodorant. Instead he opted for JUST the cologne that day. SO I got to enjoy the nice combination of onion-pits and spicy cologne for the WHOLE FLIGHT. Plus he was stingy with the armrest.
That rascal!

I always find myself switching deodorant every time because they somehow stop working when I'm almost done with the product.
Not sure if my armpits are just rejecting the deodorant after x amount of weeks, or the deodorant is just weaker the closer they get to the base.
- Ha! I've been wondering this too. I think they top it off with some xtra juice.bezoar
