If anyone needs ball templates, drop us an email through our website. We work with the soccer ball factories in Pakistan directly, and work with designers, so we have a lot of experience of the design to manufacture process. There are 2 main templates for all balls, dependent on the factory you are working with. www.paintfc.com

Good day,
I decided to make the template files I used for PASSPORT available to anyone interested in designing a ball. Included is also the 3D model of the ball I used in OBJ format. It can be imported into most 3D software applications.I'm looking to get some feedback as to the clarity of my instructions.
If you think of something I could do to improve please let me know either here, or by posting a comment on the blog.

Get your hands on copies of 3DSMax, Photoshop and Pepakura, then get a cutting pad, some scalpels, a printer, some sellotape, and some rigid paper stock.
Play.

7 or 8 years ago, when I first moved to NYC there was an exhibition with a bunch of custom soccer balls amongst other things. Think it was put on by Wooster Collective and maybe Puma. Should still have pictures somewhere...
