YEah the goofy outfits etc were never really by thing...and it's also sort of weird to talk about it in the past tense since electronic music is still a thriving scene, probably bigger now than it was then.
I think what I miss from the early days though is the incredible energy, positivity and friendliness people had back then. There was an attitude going on that is missing now.
- depends where you go. that energy, positivity and friendliness is still aroundMilan

When I was at EDC, this year,
EVERYONE was AMAZINGLY friendly, every single person I talked to
was really nice, I have never seen that before in my days.

Went to warehouse parties from 96-01 about. Had some great times and not some great ones. The hippy house outdoor parties were a lot of fun too, but got old pretty fast. Sometimes I really miss those times, but nothing good last forever I suppose. Still go to jungle nights sometimes, but massives don't seem like that much fun anymore. Burning man is fun, you can still get your rave on there if you want.

Yup started going to raves around 96 (when I was in highschool) to about 2003. Electronic music is still the best (and fills most my itunes), though I listen to a host of other stuff.

^ All artists that give electronic music a bad name
Although I did used to own the Keoki CD, the one where he samples Speed Racer to make it sound like he's fucking the girl
- Love him or hate him the guy was a legend. Saw him live once and the music he played was bad ass...but his mixing was terrible.designbot
- terrible. Maybe that's why he focused alot of his time on producing.designbot

I gotta say the old warehouse parties was some of the most fun I have ever had. There was so much positive energy from everyone involved. I came from bashing my head at metal and punk shows so it was refreshing to not have to worry about fights or nazi punks with steel toes.
