I would stop restarting and wait till you get to a shop. Is there Apple Store in QC?
- horton0
use OS X screensharing via your laptop to operate the trouble mac and if you have the tools trying running some diagnostics. i can't remember now but i think techtool can tell you if your video card is fcked.

Know nothing about macs, but can you access the components? (I'm guessing you can't). What you're describing happens in PC as well and usually its just static electricity in the RAM slots. All you have to do is take them off and plug them back in. If that procedure doesn't help then it's probably some hardware component's fault but not necessarily the graphic card.

Here's the blinking codes for displays:

not used with mac, but if you can remove add cparts, maybe swap them with one of your friend ? thay way you could identify the problem?
- horton0
its a mac pro? start searching user discussion in here... "display dead" etc etc... amazing the info you'll dig up.
- Corvo20
keyboard doesn't start because drivers do not load, right? chime belongs to OS starting up, right? So whatever is happening is a conflict in the booting procedure. Right? So it's not hardware failure, since booting procedures only start after hardware check?
If you get a list of the booting procedure of your OS you may be able to troubleshoot the problem and what conflict is causing the stand-still.

i tried removing all the hard drive except the no.1 with OSX on it. Doesnt work either.
The keyboard is dead and the video signal too. It die just after the chime.
