If you're on the fence about buying it, don't be. I managed to bag a copy this morning from Sainsburys. It sold out in minutes (granted its not a huge supermarket). The game is great - look forward to more after work :-)

8.5 Presentation
The graphical presentation is great, but campaign’s storytelling needs work. Single player is short, and doesn’t entirely live up to the Call of Duty standard.
10 Graphics
What was already an impressive graphical engine has only improved over the last two years. More effects, grander environments, and a truly spectacular overall visual offering.
10 Sound
Along with graphical design, Modern Warfare 2’s audio is upped substantially. Authentic weapon sounds and more in-game chatter mix with a beautiful adaptive score by Hans Zimmer.
9.0 Gameplay
There’s no single AC-130 “wow” moment in single player, but it’s fun throughout. Special Ops mode and multiplayer are must-play, and completely make the package.
10 Lasting Appeal
While campaign is short, Spec Ops mode is an awesome addition to the package. Multiplayer is stronger than ever, and truly limitless in replay value.- BAAAM!ideaist

The game is really good. played til about 5 am... maps are big, guns perks are good, overall gameplay is really nice. Say goodbye to life for a while...

got this fucker last night, played til 3:30AM. i look like a zombie today at work.
played a little bit of all 3 modes, single player, spec ops and multiplayer. i played a couple spec ops missions with a buddy on veteran difficulty. it's so much fun! you really have to work together, strategize and communicate to beat the missions.
in one mission, we were up on a sniper tower, defending against 5 waves of 20-30 enemies, jeeps and trucks. we beat it after about 10 tries. this is my favorite game mode so far.

We need to better coordinate group games with those of us here.
Any ideas? It's hard to keep track of screen names in these threads. Any better ideas? I think just putting up a page on one of our web sites with screen names, or something easy to use would be good. I know a ton of you are going to be doing multiplayer, we might as well team up on it.
