Looking to get a nice iPod dock for my new place.
I want it to sound great, look sexy, and not kill my wallet.
Here are some that I like.
GenevaSound XL - white (http://www.genevalab.com/v/vspf... Nice, but very expensive.
SoundDock® Portable digital music system (http://www.bose.com/controller... Great sound, but I don't like the way it looks. Also, it only has iPod capabilities, no CD / Radio.Suggestions? Advice?

I want a nice speaker system that has a spot for an iPod.

I just thought about this right now, but can't you just plug your head phone into the audio inputs of a tv?

Lots of these are too small. Pump up the volume!

I nearly forked out for a B+W Zepplin but in the end decided for that money to buy a simple hifi instead.
http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/di…We have a iLuv IMM183 dock in our bedroom becuase it charges my wifes ipod and my iphone at the same time and plays music off either from the remote. Sound is ok but not great.

i find all these docks created for the ipod kind of funny. not to say they don't sound good, but they look as ridiculous as an emmy on display on a giant marble and gold plated mantel. i mean if you are going to have something with some sound and as large as most of these, can't you just hide the fucking ipod/phone behind or encased within the system?

@lvl_13 I totally agree. They look so weird.

I've had the Bose Sounddock for 5 years and it's on every day and I love it. Fills my house with the super sounds of Debbie Gibson and Tiffany.

**2013 THREAD BUMP**
My trusty Logic3 broke at work and we're stuck with pirate radio or Smooth fkin FM.
Anyone have any recommendations for relatively cheap ipod docks (up to £50)???
Nothing special, just want decent overall sound and good volume for studio environment, but don't trust Amazon reviews, so many are copy & paste.
Please don't be posting any carbon-fibre Bang and Olufsen Brett Ba$h stuff, even if I could afford it I'd rather buy flights, drugs and pogs etc.
