damn, ed... I know your situation far too well... :(
My home is open to you, btw. :)... you'll have to come to phoenix of course - but there is a recent empty bedroom for Ed if need-be.
Hang in there, man... take serious note of where you're putting what money you have etc - one day at a time... things have to pick up for someone like you. :)

just be glad you have family close to rely on and that will take you in.
My parents live thousands of miles away so if this happened to me I'd be on the streets.
Good Luck
P.S.
Throw a DJ party at your place and charge 20 bucks at the door.

The e-pill will rise again.

Somehow homeless drug addicts make more $$ in a week than most..
Have you ever noticed that? When asking a street junkie how much they use -- you always get the reply of something like over $200/daySecrets of the poor and nameless
- theft & prostitution is a good earner, bit of a risky profession though and probably not e-0pill's thing reallykelpie

I don't know e-pill or the entirety of his situation. I don't want to sound rude but I can't help but speak up regarding this topic.
To e:
I really hope you aren’t sitting around waiting till the next $150,000/yr job rolls around. Your rent is excessive. You live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Get off QBN, pull up your bootstraps, drop your ego on the way out the door and go get a job. It’ll probably be out of your regular field of work and/or below your “standards,” but if you’re moving back in to your parent’s home, it sounds like they need to be lowered anyway. My boyfriend, sans degree, has a job that pays almost 30,000/yr. His job experience consisted of pouring beer at a brewery one night a week and driving a forklift. You at least have job experience. Of course this is no where near what you WERE making, but this is meant to be an anecdote. I know the market is tough, I myself have been jobless in it, but if you need a job, you CAN get a job.POINT IS: Show everyone that you are a strong, responsible adult and full yourself out of gutter.

Dude don't you have some kind of ultra rare comic and a first edition of a very rare collectible book stored in a bank vault or something?
SELL THEM MAN! YOU NEED THE MONEY NOW!
Seriously E-pill, you have assets. You need to liquidise them. Your situation might feel like a come-down but think how lucky you actually are compared to others who are having to rely on charity to get by now.
Best Wishes though man. Hope the good times come back round again for you soon.
- those books are not for sale. i can make it past this!!! i dont need to sell that to be better!!e-pill
- i would wager you don't need a PayPal page either then, right?locustsloth
- i will make a paypal for a store if need be but i dont want handout and i didnt ask 4any.e-pill
- roundabout0
I agree, If you have assets which you know can make money sell them you are in no situation to be fussy, you need the money, get on with it. Good luck mate.

- cannonball19780
also - dont fuck with the tax man next time. knowing is half the battle.
- nice gi-joe easter egg!!e-pill
- tax man has his money i paid it as i had the money... it was theirs.. i was told it was mine.e-pill

E-pill, I sense a great desire to hang on to those books but if you owe the tax man money he'll walk right into your bank vault and take them anyway. Anyway, I'm just saying that although you've had some knocks, you have it much better than many people who don't have anywhere to retreat to and wouldn't have the luxury of hanging on to valuable assets in a tight spot... so KEEP THAT CHIN UP MAN, YOU HAVE TALENT, YOU HAVE CHUTZPAH AND YOU ARE STILL IN THE BLACK!
- no spooks.. i dont owe anyone money.. i have no money left b/c i paid evry1 off.e-pill
- i had money saved. i wanted to get my own apt. get out of renting. it was my goal.e-pill
- it still is my goal, nowi have to keep working hard. and earn it again.. i like the challenge!!!e-pill
- Ah, I see. Anyway, you'll be back in no time epill. Treat it as a vacation from adulthood!Spookytim

sorry to hear... good luck mate
- BusterBoy0
That's bad luck buddy - all the best.
Just one question - did your employer take out the tax from your pay but keep it for themselves or was no tax taken out of your pay at all? If it was the latter, didn't you notice that you were getting paid more than what you were entitled to keep?
Anyhow, all the best. I hope things work out for you buddy - I had some tax issues myself which nearly blew my marriage.
- i didnt notice the numbers but no tax was taken out..but i saved a lot.. thankfully..e-pill

OK e-pill, Give me one good reason why you should not sale the comic which could give you money and help you out of a situation.
- I can give one - there are other options to explore before selling off his pride and joy.Wolfboy
- Look, when your in that situation you have no options, I had to sale my pride and joy so get the fuck on with it?roundabout
- i dont see that empty ended road as you are portraying it. im see it evolving.. as it shoulde-pill
- im not crippled and not defeated, why should i sell something i wish to pass downe-pill
- to my younger generation??
the books arent for sale.e-pill
