this is the island where the creepy Hand ninja clan fought the 4 fighters of legend the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!!!!
the scene where the turtles goto the Shredder's hideout where all the kids are skate boarding and playing arcades its like chuckie cheese for ninjas....
gotta love Roosevelt Island... the island with the creepy Cable Car where that guy walked over with a stick, the Cable Cars that get stuck every year with people stuck in it so freekin scary!!!!
ive been to that island many times... its like being in a totally different country with no outside contact....
its creepy there is nothing there but a hospital, a few delis, and just apartments... i know a few people that live there and to me they arent New Yorkers as they are their own insane kind of person... like another planet kind of person... they are so weird... like they like living there... its soo depressing... hahahafuck them!!! they can keep it...

loved roosevelt.
tried to rent a place at the octagon... i wanted a place in NYC that my dog couldnt run to far off and get lost... roosevelt was the only thing i found that i thought my lil' lady could run wild but still never get too far from home.
great view of the city at night.
totally odd people that live and work there... lots of engineers and scientist from germany in company housing.i recommend a half day trip there for any photographer visiting NYC
