no fixed geeks can keep up with me in this city.

i mostly ride fixed, but i also have a bike that i can throw a multi-speed hub wheel on if i want to go on a long cruise. they shift super smooth and can shift while not moving...
also even if you mostly ride geared, riding fixed can help with your cadence and break you of over-shifting, or shifting too far down. if you normally ride with a group, try fixed for a month, then get back on geared. i guarantee you will leave everyone behind.

Seriously this bike can be bought brand new a Target for cheaper than what you paid.
This is the kind of bike i'd expect a young child or a grown man with 1 too many DUI's riding.Sorry buddy, you got ripped off!

reviews of the Vertical PK7:
"I got mine at target yesterday (10/03/03) and it was 104 plus tax"
"It's regularly about $120 but on sale this week at Target for $88."
"Actually found several recalls on this brand of bike"
"dont buy it my friend has one and it is the biggest heap i have ever seen. Dont buy it I would buy a huffy before that. it is cheaply built and saw it for sale at target for 88 bucks."

Well, Scarabin might've got ripped off, but he does'nt really care. That being understood, we can go back to the original post.

I just got a Gary Fisher Marlin, and my wife got a Giant (of some sort). purchased both, totally reconditioned from a second-hand bike store - they are both awesome.
