Dreams may not be the secret window into the frustrated desires of the unconscious that Sigmund Freud first posited in 1899, but growing evidence suggests that dreams - and, more so, sleep - are powerfully connected to the processing of human emotions.

I've had this dream many times where I am back in Highschool and I am late to class. The school building is always massive (like as big as a shopping mall), with multiple levels, and I can't find my class. I start to panic a little and then I usually wake up.
Not sure what it means.

I have a cool reoccurring dream where I'm able to fly. More like floating actually, levitating 2-3 feet off the ground and hovering around. Often times I'm playing basketball and dunking from opposite end of the court.
The dream feels very real, almost lucid. It's an amazing feeling of power and freedom.

I would once have proffered, niko, that this was your astral body you were using to float around within - I too have had dreams like this since I was 2 or 3, always floating at about waist height, legs forward, laid flat, with a form of almost awareness that I was dreaming, that this was not normal in everyday living, but that if I could just recall how to do it, I should be able to do it in the real world, as it was a very natural way to exist...
Now, however, I'm nearly 40 years old, and a hardened skeptic and atheist, who believes in nothing other than the physical universe we can measure with machines, and that one day there will be utterly nothing left of me or anyone I've ever known, so...fuck, dunno fella, sounds fun, enjoy it before you're entire existence is lost to entropic heat dissemination, and your body reused by plants and shit.- Cool story.CygnusZero4

Ive had some weird reoccurring dreams as well but the weirdest thing about it was that is happened over 10 year span!
I Remember being active in the dream when I first had it when I was like 12 or something then I didn't revisit the dream till I was about 20 and everything had changed!

pops sold his home on account of hard times, and when we were moving out the new owners walked in on a friend and myself smoking a Fat J ,
I also left a CD wallet with backed up baby pics of my boy that I have since regretted
I have a dream at least once a week about being in that old house and trying to get out before the owners come home

Decipher this dream I have had a few times.
I am walking along a beach I see a trunk from an elephant poking out of the sand so I dig down and see it is attached to an elephant so I dig for ages to get the guy out then he gets out the hole brushes himself off then says thanks, and we have a bit of a laugh on the beach then he and I go our separate ways?....

i have many reoccurring dreams, the one that frightens me the most is where i wake up and i am not completely blind but everything is blurry and it won't go away, i am usually late for something and try to go about my business without being able to see anything but a fuzzy version of the world, and it begins to get worse and worse.
hmmmm.

Every year around my birthday, I have dreams about confronting my mother (we have not spoken to/seen each other in about 7 years). They are very emotional (I'll wake up crying) and sometimes a tad violent.

"i bet a lot of people here dream about their teeth falling out. "
I don't dream about my teeth falling out, but of willingly biting down so hard that my teeth splinter and crack in my mouth.
I have an awful lot of violent and sadistic dreams - whereby I'm usually the perpetrator doing things that I would never do in waking life. Killing people, animals, life... and purposely scaring myself shitless by opting to fall through black abysses and doing things like stare at a mirror until I go raving mad (much like looking at a mirror when tripping) and I'll be screaming so much I wonder if woke the house.
Honestly though - I'm a level and sane human being in waking life. I've no idea where this stuff comes from.
