I'm on the market for one, I would love something consumer so its as cheap as possible but at a decent resolution.
Example:
CASIO EX-FC 100
http://www.amazon.com/Casio-High…
($350 on amazon)
shoots 210/ 420 & 1000fpsbut resolution is too small, I won't be able to afford HD but would be nice if anyone can direct me into something SD at least?
Hopefully between under $900?

i thought you said high speed, wtf man
- care to elaborate?Meeklo
- "Continious shooting" vs shutter speed is my guess. You know, freezing a bullet in motion, that sort of fast opening/shuttering.Peter
- yeah i thought this.

Weird! That 1000fps is an odd feature to pack into a little camera like that. Never seen that before. I wonder what the footage is like.

technically you can, but when you record normal speed and you slow it down, you only have 24 frames on a second.
When you record at 400 frames per second, and then you slow that down, you are going to have better flow between frames, it captures a lot more detail, its hard to explain with words but once you see a slow motion piece at 24frames and one at 300f you will notice the difference right away.- Do you have sample? I would be interested I seeing the results...utopian

Think of your frames per second as your resolution... more frames per second is like having more resolution.

technically it works like any tripod, so if the 5d has a hole underneath it means it works
