Who designs software here? Most work I tend to stumble across is print / info-web related.
Link me to your portfolios! Amaze me!

I do, although my portfolio is sadly out-of-date.

Also - any interaction designers on here? People who actually know what a persona or a scenario is? Holler.

i'm a software developer - only on QBN b/c a very long time ago (holodeck73/Newstoday) i was involved in digital media.. today i'm an advanced developer working on projects for which there really is no portfolio - its all backend work - of course my company has a plethora of front-end websites and wapsites (which we call storefronts) - however it would be hard to show you MY work.
If you are interested in SOA (like WCF) or design patterns then we should talk

the people on this board are smart enough to designer software

^ Nice work.
I'm more interested in talking about the design of the apps from a user centered / goal oriented design standpoint than a technical one - anyone game?
Currently re-reading "About Face 2.0" right now. Good stuff.

Yes, the IZ.com site will be a web 2.0 community site with all the features of tagging, commenting, voting, posting, following, etc..
I had the pleasure of designing that community ERD and taking place in the design of this project, before our company rearranged teams and i ended up off the project.. the trick to these 2.0 apps are good database design and querying tricks (and kick ass ajaxified UI components or the like)

I design software for IBM. Unfortunately due to NDA and dev cycles most of the work I can show is at least a year old. You can see some of my recent work at http://www.krop.com/ninjasavant/…
- NDA's ....argh..., I can only show some older work too....arghvaxorcist

I design software. I'm an interaction designer (although prefer more "designer". While my strength is in Interaction I have skills and appriciation of other areas).
I've been doing it for years and still love it. Sometimes a bit slow, but when people use what you develop daily, it takes time.

I went from big enterprise-level UI/functional design to web design... and sort of miss the big enterprise stuff, since what I know now about web/interface design would be so much more relevant in the enterprise arena.
