Bing is a fine name... come on, can you imagine if Microsoft annouced a service called "yahoo". We've just come to accept it. Also, I don't understand the first post. You type in "1 1". If you type "1+1" it does fine. Taking some time to figure out how to make fun of it instead of using it.
To me the issue is simply one of clean information presentation from the search itself. The engine is getting better, I just have issues with the info design.

I didn't type in "1 1"...I typed in "1+1"...and it delivered me the results with the math equation.no where to be seen.
I just thought it was a funny, and unfortunate, glitch when the whole point of the ad was to build credibility in the site.

Right, I typed "1+1" into the Flash ad and it delivered the page results for "1 1."
Trust me, I tested in a couple times because I was kind of surprised, and in different browsers too and it did the same thing.

why would they go head to head with what google is best at..?
