Who here has the camera? I was thinking about getting a DSLR camera, but after seeing this it kinda makes me wanna get it.
Any complains, suggestions?

takes amazing photos. the new lens may make it shoot better in low light. not sure. I had a DP1. was slow as hell to use, and terrible in low light, but I loved that thing.

... or go for the Panasonic Lumix LX3

Funny... I have the DP1, and "slow as hell" is not something I can equate with any digital camera. I always took time with film cameras to get the shot I wanted.
If you want speed and point-and-shoot - then don't buy this camera. but it you want point-and-shoot, don't spend as much as the DP2 costs!
I love my DP1 and it's "lack" of novelty features.

if i were in the market for a new point & shoot, i'd get the dp2. some good examples here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yea…

The DP1 was a notorious piece of junk. Huge shutter lag, slow start up, lens aberrations, terrible in low light - list goes on. I had a Sigma rep describe it as an "experiment gone wrong"
But this is round two, so who knows. Check out dpreview.
- dpreview raved about the DP1.moth

Wait for the Olympus E-P1 it's the digital version of the classic Olympus Pen line.

I've been looking all over for the DP2... in the US they seems impossible to find. The Lumix X3 was tempting as well, but I'd really like the DP2.
- I had the DP1, loved the body, wanna get the DP2 but this 43rds thing looks interesting...robotron3k
