Fucking Preview!

I hate this twerpy fucking Preview program on my Mac. It's always opening up just when I don't want it!
What sort of damage will be inflicted if I just delete this fucker? Will that totally freeze my OS, or disable iTunes or something crazy? Or will it just free me from this pest?

just change the program you want your files open with...

a) Right click on file
b) Open With > Other ...
c) Choose Application
d) Check Always Open With box

Preview is not that bad anyways. It renders PDFs better than Adobe Reader (thin strokes at least). It's also very fast. Whatever.

preview is the best. it's great for opening lots of images at once (as opposed to pshop), or opening PDFs. acrobat takes about 5 minutes to open up. preview opens in about 2 seconds, because it's not all bloated like acrobat
- that's what i use it for. acrobat is a big fat cow of an appscarabin

check out iView Media Pro. List, thumb & full view modes, opens PSD on double-click, auto-refreshes when you save the same file from another app. I always have problems saving in Photoshop if the file's open in Preview.
