The majority of users don't see a problem with it.

The majority of "sheeple" haven't yet learned to step out of The Matrix.

on the other hand it was kinda comfortable to design/code for only one browser, not 10...
- personally i only design for ie, ff, and safari. this on pc makes things look the same on macs too********

I'm pretty sure the entire US government still uses it. I work for the Army and we are only authorized to use IE 6... and I put together websites for them. I have to log off my GC and boot up a quarantined laptop just to test modern browsers.

So, like, someone could do something in IE7, or Safari, and the Army would never know about it?
Like launch a sneak attack? Or take over our minds? And the Army couldn't stop it because they wouldn't even know?
Don't let this information fall into the wrong hands!

I'm not sure I feel safe anymore knowing our army relies on IE6...
- Me neither!boobs
- The times, they are a'changin. Ironically after posting the last bit, my automation team told me they are installing Vista on all GC's this week.full_bleed

Look at the trends? That's like saying, water is losing market share because people learned to bottle/can beverages that had flavor.
Oh really? Then look what happened when some genius decided to start bottling water too.
Yah, trends are the future.
- ukit0
Why is IE water and others soda or whatever? And what does bottling the water mean?
Better analogy: they serve you Dr. Pibb at your cafeteria for free, but some guy across the street is giving away free Dr. Pepper.
As more and more find out, they stop drinking at the cafeteria. Eventually the cafeteria goes bust and Steve Ballmer starts breaking the dishes.

Most people just like to have a functional computer. Most people buy PC's. Where's the stunner?
