There is a post-modern future waiting for us just over the next sunrise where its going to become too difficult for most people to differentiate between absurdist parody and sincere drama. This seems to be played so straight faced with none of the parody overtones that it almost comes full circle back to the old Harryhausen & Tokyo Monster films.
I might start drafting my screenplay idea about a giant disenfranchised gerbil's ear that eats Luxembourg.
