Getting a basic cut is different from having it styled. Anything generally costs more for women.

A personal thought that has always seemed to benefit me, always find a hairstylist that wants to hook up with you but never will, her wanting you, thinking you're cute, etc will always guarantee a complimentary haircut to your head, face, personality whereas some stylists simply apply their style to your head, which i can personally do without

$20 (includes tip).

My last haircut at a salon/barber cost me exactly $20 in Long Island, but that was almost four years ago and they wanted to charge me more because they had so much difficulty (I know it looks thick, but in real life it's EVEN THICKER).

Average $40 (Miami, Orlando, Minneapolis)
$20-60 depending on what I do.I have long hair and typically I go to a salon and have a hipster girl do it. I've gone to maybe 50 in my lifetime.

$16 + $5 tip at Hair Cuttery. Several cities in the US have them right?it's like Pro Cuts I guess - I got lucky with a good haircut guy (not gonna say "stylist" , version3 will just accuse me of being gay for the second time today) and have used him for all 7 years I've lived in Chicago. Frankly I don't know why he's not working in a more upscale place.
