My dad used to drive a deep metallic purple 1973 Formula 400. I was embarrassed by it for my entire childhood, but now realize it was a level of awesome that is rarely seen anymore.

Stood next to one of these in vivid orange just this weekend. If you know how small and curly english roads are, and how tall and short our cars are, you might appreciate how insane it is to see one of these over here, parked at the side of the road.
So many great Pontiacs, the 67-70 GTOs were great, even the Firebirds with all their cheesiness were iconic cars.
