mozy, carbonite and backblaze all good for archiving / retore. But I want to store files online but need to give access to certain files to certain people. Any ideas for a decent solution?

dropbox is very cross-platform
- but basically with a web client only, it doesn't matter, adrvie and all support it too.jimbojones

If you sign up using someone's referral ( cough cough https://www.getdropbox.com/refer… ) then you get 2.25 gig for free rather than 2 gig, plus when you sign your wife up refer her from your account which means she gets 2.25 and you get an extra 0.25 gig added to your account as well!! Cheers.

drop box looks a good alternative to constant use of yousendit and the like. What I'm after is something that will enable us both to access files easily but that will also act as storage / archive. I'm suprised Google don't have anything. Google docs is a good example of what we need. Remote storage but easy access and able to store locally if need be.

I think skydrive.live.com is a pretty solid offering right now, especially since it's part of hotmail + you get to use the gallery.live.com to show your comps... most of my clients are finding it easy to use too.

Any advances on this.
Thinking of storing all my files online (about 200GB) for easy access anywhere.
Looking for reliable cost effective solutions.

I can't decide between these:
Mozy
4.95/mo for Unlimited space
https://mozy.com/home/pricing/Drop Box
19.99/mo for 100GB
http://www.dropbox.com/pricingor
Sugar Sync
9.99/mo for 60GB
https://www.sugarsync.com/produc…I'm gonna use the space to backup a bunch of shit relating to my design business. Thoughts?

I'd go with Dropbox. Simple and effective.

or backup use mozy, for "dynamic" data use dropbox
- Ruffian0
Mozy, Backblaze etc are more for serious back-ups, Dropbox for small things and file sharing. No?

I think I am going to go with DropBox. I just need something that can serve as an "online hub" for all my contracts, client info and shizzzz
