Who is watching this junk? There is absolutely 0% narrative or subcontext, it is all 2 minute blurbs of expository dirvel, all fat and no nutrition. I tried watching a full episode, in hopes of assertaining the reason for it's popularity, but to no avail. Maybe I'm missing some obsure Deleuzing time/image manipulation, or maybe a unique prolitariate critique. Sadly, I am beginning to think that this a big step towards Huxleys' Brave New World, where this visual Soma is numbing the youth of today into a mindless coma, where the power class moves further into control, while everyone else simply drools into oblivion.

kids these days have it pretty tough, the internet has mainstreamed counter-culture. there's no where left to hide.

MTV shows are really shitty. but hey, that's what young kids are into.
Erin from 'The City' lives 2 blocks away from my apt. I am secretly hoping one day I run into her.

Is anybody reading these days? I must say, from some of the amusing comments on this board, I have to believe that there are many literate types posting -
So who are the kids reading these days?
- I assume they are probably reading 'Chasing Harry Winston', 'The Devil Wears Prada', etc. Junk books.tkmeister
