Looking for nice hotels / B&B's in Venice,Rome and Scilly. Something with style for my honeymoon. Working with a budget of around £100.00- £150 a night. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Stay in Taormina or Giardini Naxos in Sicily - my favorites! Palermo is also very worth the visit.

We stayed here last year, its a nice 3/4* boutique hotel, funky rooms and a good location 5 mins walk from main train station and
Booked through here and got 3 nights for around £250 which was well below the rack rate.

For Venice, I would really recommend staying in Dorsoduro. My husband and I stayed at La Calcina, which we loved. It's not a fancy place but It is right on the fondamente which is so beautiful and the staff was wonderful. I am a huge fan of Venice. Wish I could live there.

Sicily:
Palermo - Hotel Orientale. It's a must-see even if you don't stay there. The strangest hotel I have been to. 300 years old monumental weird place, dream-like. Mussolini stayed there and spoke from the balcony, they say.
I have some fantastic photos from there, bought a wide angle lens just to take some more this year.
Don't worry, the rooms are nice and clean, the hotel part of the building is in good condition :)
Their site isn't too hi-tech and it says it's from 7th century, rather than 17th http://www.albergoorientale.191.…
We used booking.com for reservation though.Cefalu - La Fenice. Run by an American girl who apparently moved back to where her family came from.
It is somewhere here, your window faces the sea directly:
I have her email and phone# if you want it.
