I assume the vignette was added in post?
- the lens has some vignetting at lower fstops, and it shows more depending on how you grade it or what film you shootsuperbaka

tkmeister, i recommend a used M7 for <$1500, the more beat up the better as long as its calibrated. Will produce amazing images for next 100 years and you can begin investing in their lenses which will work on M9+. i don't see a M9 coming out for a long time. They are adding more features to M8, possibly even a CCD upgrade, before the M9 so i hear, so as to preserve value of M8 owners.
- yeah, i have been thinking about that for a while since i already have a good film scanner.tkmeister

Leica lens always has something very magical when put in the hands of a good photographer. Maybe if M9 comes out, I might think about getting one.
btw, i recently watched Ed Ulbrich showing how Benjamin Button was constructed in 3D. I remember you worked on that. It's pretty amazing to see the technology/innovation that went in.

thanks. I have the black M8. I was mostly playing with how the CCD responded in direct sunlight and high key. seems not bad, retains a lot of data, considering its not film..its a learning process working with it from an M7.
@alpesh i have the older f1.0 version.
