I can almost bet my HUGE salary that this example is made with 3D features in flash 10, that's not papervision...
- acescence0
3D aside, Flash Player 10 is generally dog slow

cs4 / fp10 is a lot slower that papervision... so could be your answer why it runs like in treacle
- acescence0
cs4 / fp10 can do a lot of that natively now, it's not necessarily papervision
- DownHill0
the 3d just makes everything a little worse

not liking what it does to the small body copy...
... sometimes you just gotta stop and ask yourself if the 'cool' is worth it...
... not worth it here... or perhaps a little less would have been more? (lay off the 3d on everything... leave some stuff (like the body type) flat etc)

fuck, papervision makes safari on mac grind to a halt almost inevitably.
crunch crunch. spinny rainbow. slight shift in page z coordinates. crunch crunch spinny rainbow. close window.

I believe that is done with papervision

It appeared on PC here: http://www.soft.se/#index
Does anyone have tutorials how to do that in flash?
I presume that is uses lot of AS. Is this pure AS with one object/image, or it uses different images (perspective effect)+AS.I haven't found something on the web, only instructions for mouse movements and basic distort effects (width, height, rotate)
