Creepy or Art?

he's really an imagemaker more than a photographer. it's irrelevant that there's a lot of photoshop in there - his work is his work, no matter how it's created.
that being said, his body of work is sort of one-note. a somewhat interesting note, but still, i'd like some more depth. perhaps if i could hear what he says about it, rather than rely on some blog post to tell me what it's all about, i'd get a better understanding.

art is anything that triggers a response within someone, good or bad, and this thread has shown plenty of that

Well, i think is pretty beautiful
Creepy is the guy who transformed a child skull into a camera, and the lens are on her forehead, and its all crafted with some stones and stuff. That's completly freakysorry to post this:

Take this camera for instance...4”x5” camera made from Aluminium, Copper, Titanium, Acrylic and HIV positive blood. The blood pumps through the camera then in front of the pinhole and becomes my #25 red filter. Designed to shoot a geographic comparison of people suffering from HIV.

it's great at first.. but when you've seen the 15th version of the same picture, shot on the same day in the same house with the same kid it loses its impact a lot.
