dark and strange and surreal - some well done though. the guy definitely has issues if all he does is take photos of little girls and touch them up - ooer.
i dont think these are as scary or make me feel as strangely uncomfortable as the Lloyds/TSB TV adverts though. Those are just wrong...

Even though I liked this film.....the same creepy pedophilia undertones are present. Makes me sick to my stomach that almost anything can fly under the radar as "art" when it is obviously depicting some vile scenes from the artists own twisted mind. I wouldn't trust this guy anywhere near my own children.

Yeh, they guy's just got issues - he's spent an inordinate amount of time on images that place young children in situations that are unnatural and inappropriate - this is the crux of the pieces, this misplacing of context is the mechanism of the artistic statements that are being expressed..
The thing is, no one else - at least most people who have a consensual idea of childhood, have any curiosity about the juxtaposition of childhood with the adult themes in which they are set. It is not a part of the psyche that contains any unexpressed or repressed energy - people are not curious about it - people are happy with those concepts being seperate and brining them together like this does not illuminate any darkened corners of the mind, and as such I will declare that it is not art.
Looking at the pictures all I am left wondering about is how much of this is private fantasy and how much it is just a bad attempt at art.

I have seen better. The execution is somewhat half-assed and there is so much of this stuff out there already.
And if this shocks you guys, I really don't know what to say. You should really take a look at what is out there in this genre of art.

And since when does photography lose it's credibility as "Art" because it's "strange" or "creepy"?
