just put this up, looking for someone to test it at 1024 x 768 and in IE.
Also looking for general impressions of the site. It's really just a placeholder until I have time to do a proper identity and design.

Try "photographer" or "photography" after your name. Putting just "photographs" leads me to believe you have other work on your site.

Interesting work!
I tested your website in IE8 and there's no close button to go back to the thumbnails. When I try compatibility mode, one of the images is cutoff. I'm using WinXp SP3. Hope this helps.

thanks kgvs72 appreciated. Im using lytebox and apparently IE8 does not play well.
I'm not a web designer, so I never would have checked compatibillty mode. Seems like it's not something to get too worked up over, am I right?

IE 7 kicks the last thumbnail to a new line. Probably a margin or whitespace issue.
IE 6 has issues with the lightbox caption/prev/next displaying too low. Float issue.

that loading graphic is annoyingly moving up/down between images. and that loading is optimised for a white background, not a grey one.

Question: How do you all test for IE when you are on a mac?
and is the image size a prolem for anyone else? I made them that big so the verts would fit 1024x768.

The issues brought up were addressed, the loading graphic, the float issue, and images being pushed to a new line in IE.

Type is all sorts of jacked up on my end (like kerning was done by a blind man)...not sure why.....using FF2

when navigating between images, the loader comes up, then the previous image blinks on and then the new image shows up

My thoughts...
Don't like the use of the word "photographs". Sounds like something I'd say at walmart.
Loading graphic is weird.
Check image 22 of 27. Cropping sucks. you got a white line at the bottom of the image.
Don't see harmony between the fonts used for your name (yellow) and the white text for "photographs"

Image to small and the << prev. next >> moves around the page from image to image.
Pet peeve is when navigation moves around...
