Working on an update to my portfolio site. Would appreciate constructive feedback on the work, but especially the site.

Neat, clean and very good work in there!

What autokern said. Just so you know, there's a double post of the Police Website image, the one with the helicopter.

Clean, simple, nice. Just how a portfolio should be!

I like your work very crisp, wish I could design like that.
Your portfolio is very slick but it leaves me a bit cold, maybe a very very subtle background pattern on the about and contact? Other wise good work.
other thing I would say is I am running FF2 on a mac and there appears to be text and an image hidden off to the left of the screen, but just peaking in is it supposed to do that?

the work itself is pretty good, but if I wanted to hire you I would want to know what you actually did (design? html? illustrations? IA?) and the layout, while easy to see <mousewheel....and done> is a little clunky. that big grey band of color behind the screenshot of your pages seems weird, like a mistake or something. Is there supposed to be type in there? is it supposed to be navigation and im just not seeing it? ( i am ie6 on pc). I agree with above comment...you probably need a little something more to present your clean and well done work.

site is very nice indeed. love the 3D style illustration work.

nice site, nice work. I'd maybe do something other than the gradient to separate out the projects though

rugby game is shit.
i eliminated all fire hazards and still had HEAPS of oxygen left over.

nice for a one pager

The left side of your site is getting cut off. It's like everything shifts too far to the left. i.e. I'm only seeing half of the block of copy on the left side of the page. I'm using Firefox 2

Thanks for all the helpful comments. Good to know it's not working in IE6/Camino/older FF.
Twokids, there is a bit that says what I do - check the navigation at the top.
Thanks all.

bit too shiney for my tastes (the buttons at the top) and i'm not a fan of a new gradient for each bit of work... um, not much else to comment on.. work is nice.
- Thanks, I might try a couple of different ways of separating the different pieces of work.thatboyneave

Overall it's quite nice...not sure if the gradient dividers are necessary. And it would be nice in a way to see more than 5-6 pieces, although, if that is the best of the best, just keep it that way.

yea the buttons on top seem heavy duty (esp. the deep bevel). Also the bold type is not rendering too well (pc FF 3) Anyway Great Work ;)

Hey. Good work but I think you could lose some projects and make it even tighter. The Nav at the top needs some aesthetic work. Because the site is a bit long I think you could make the nav on a TOP layer so all the work flows below. Also for any website samples, it is always nicer to show it in a browser screen shot so you could see it in context...and think about including some detailed shots as well that brings out the intricate details etc.
