Here is what I have so far.
I got the description to be readable on the left but on the right it will be impossible. I was hoping to also move it only vertically but no worries, I will just erase.
another question, it say a/b/c/d but where we put those references near the actual images? can we move those around (as long we stick to the grid of course)

Hey all,
Neue75_Bold is the one that made the template, but I'm trying to answer your questions the best I can in his absence. It's my understanding, that the flexibility of the grid is in regards to displaying your work, but the typographic elements should stay in their intended places. Below is an example of how to put descriptions/indicators by the work.
I understand some of you have done things a little differently (honestly, the submissions are all over the place), so we'll look at everything as we start putting the book together - should we run into issues with any entries, we'll contact people regarding revisions.–

i have a full bleed busy image on page 4. i managed to tweak it so that description can stay put but footer will be a bit hard to make out. feel free to drop it out if need be.

to answer Mau's question, part of the reason I'm not submitting is I don't have or use indesign, and it seems like a pain to try to get a copy in time just to put this together.
The other reason is that I'm been burned out by work lately and just can't get my act together to make this happen. Been spending the last few days with my son and that's been my priority. I'm a bit bummed tho.

no offense arthur, but that is pretty weak. besides, NotByHand already offered to take an ai and put it into indesign for people.
