Now with the new chapter in place we learn the truth. "You must defeat Shang Long to stand a chance." Ryu was talking about Akuma. You have to defeat Gouken to even think about defeating Akuma. In Street Fighter 4, Ryu has quietly become the "Evil Ryu" character. His obsession for fighting has him on a collision course with Akuma. Ryu probably kills Akuma and becomes the god fighter...but will that path lead him to a final confrontation with Ken? Regardless, Ryu avenges his master Gouken's death at the hands of Akuma.

I'm digging this new SF! Well, I was until my 7 year old son beat me a couple of times... right after I was bragging to him about how I was the Street Fighter Champ in my neighborhood back in 1989/90.

chi-li is still pretty shit
e-honda is back and flying headbutting people again
blanka is exactly the same - (fuckin useless)
